SHRED 3.0 FAQ
Is this program for skiers as well?
While we tailored this workout (specifically the peaking/ specialized phase 4) to snowboarders, it is 100% appropriate for ANY athlete. We all use similar muscles, soft tissues, frontal cortex, etc to perform on/ off the mountain. We promise you will see benefits for performance or for everyday life!
What equipment do I need?
- Box or Cooler

- Balance Pad OR Couch Cushion
- Med Ball or Backpack
- Optional: (2) 1 Gallon Water Jugs or Something Similar
- Large Thick bands & Small Bands

Do I have to follow this program STRICTLY?
Absolutely not. We encourage those to mix & match days that are most appropriate for you. We understand life can sometimes take over so be easy on yourself but also push yourself when appropriate.
What if I am a beginner to working out?
While this program was created for the intermediate/ advanced athlete, every movements has an alternative. We encourage you to push yourself out of your comfort zone and skip movements that may feel uneasy/ unsafe. This program can be completed by every athlete.
Can I download the videos?
Unfortunately the workout videos are not downloadable but the PDFs of each workout are. Due to previous users abusing this privilege, we had to make the videos only available on your membership.

What's the difference between Shred 3.0 and Snoga?
Snoga is a subscription based program with 2 live Snoga (Yoga for snowboarders) classes each week with Sarah. In addition, we have over 150+ recorded classes you are able to access that pair well with your Shred 3.0 program. Also, Mark teaches a new HIIT based 20-30 minute workout class each week as a supplement to your routine.
How do I access the courses after purchase?
You will receive a welcome email with a video on how to access Shred 3.0. You will sign in with the username/ password you created during checkout.
Can I perform this at home?
We made this program to be able to complete in the comfort of your home or a commercial gym. We provide alternatives to each piece of equipment. We understand that gym access is limited to certain individuals but did our best to cater to a well rounded routine.
As a Physio, do you talk though each exercise on proper form, etc.?
Honestly, I wish I could! There are hundreds of exercises and for me to do so would have taken 100’s of hours. I provide a video example of me performing each movement properly. We are always available for questions if they do come up while in the program.
SNOGA FAQ
Do I have to be an expert Yogi to participate?
Nope! We believe Snoga should have no gatekeeping and low barrier of entry. We know the benefits of yoga/ mobility and want others to experience this. All we say is start slow, listen to your body, and have fun!
When are live classes?
Sarah teaches:
Thursday: 5pm PST
Friday: 7:30am PST
How do I access live classes?
The live class links will be at the top of your membership page under Snoga program. All classes are streamed through Zoom and recorded simultaneously.
What expertise/ credentials do Mark & Sarah have?
Sarah:

What if I cannot make the live classes?
Most of our Snoga members watch the classes afterwards due to times. There are over 300+ recorded classes covering all aspects of your body, recovery, performance, etc.
What if I'm a skier?
No worries, we have MANY skiers who are Snoga members. While some terminology and classes may be specific to snowboarders, all will find benefit.
What are Marks HIIT Strength classes?
Mark teaches 30 minute or less strength classes every week ranging from HIIT, strength, mobility, injury recovery, motivation, Tabata, etc. There are now well over 100+ recorded classes.
Does Mark teach live strength classes?
For the moment, all of Marks classes are recorded. Possibly in the future!
Does Sarah ever teach live in Bend, OR?
She does! Stay on the lookout through social media.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Absolutely! We want to make this membership conductive for both parties and while we would love for you to stay, we completely understand if you need to leave. Many of our members subscribe during their winter and cancel for the season end.

Do I need equipment?
While we encourage you to add resistance to your strength routine, we made this specifically for those who dont have necessary equipment, space, or interest.

How long are the workouts?
We made workouts to be completed in 30 minutes or less. This may differ based on your experience.
What if I am a beginner to working out?
Great! We created an easy to follow chart for beginner/ intermediates/ advanced users. We encourage you to push yourself out of your comfort zone and skip movements that may feel uneasy/ unsafe. This program can be completed by every athlete.
Whats the difference between Shred 3.0 and BW Strength?
Shred 3.0 is much more in-depth on including resistance based movements in a gym or at home. It also includes MDSA aerobic routines, PLAY sessions, mobility sessions and is 12 weeks in total. It’s more appropriate for those looking to strengthen in a gym setting with a few pieces of equipment.
Can I perform at home?
We made this program to be able to complete in the comfort of your home or a commercial gym.

Yes! We made sure to include what muscles each movement is working, how it benefits snowboarders and alternatives. We are always available for questions if they do come up while in the program.

Who is this for?
This class was two years in the making with the snowboarder in mind. Each class is unique and tailored towards a specific goal. We saw a need for a supplemental core workout specific to snow athletes. Each video explains why you are performing that exercise and how. What if I am currently injured?
We always recommend reaching out to your local health professional first. injuries are case by case basis
I injured my ACL and I want to pursue my own rehab
Not everyone can afford healthcare but this may not be the right program for you. There are certainly better programs for acute ACL injuries.
Who is this for?
We created this healthy knee guide with the goal of providing as much evidence based, and easy to follow exercises for any athlete to take control of their training regimen. Stop worrying about past injuries and take control again.

Movement Consultation
Does Mark see clients 1 on 1?
Yes he does! But, space is limited these days and it's a majority personal training.
How does it work if im located outside of OR/ CO?
Mark can only see client for physical therapy in OR/ CO. For all others, he can see you for movement consultations/ personal training. While remote is convenient, many times in-person treatment will be most beneficial.
What if im located outside USA?
Perfect! Mark sees clients from all over the world.
What about in-person?
These days in-person sessions are limited but he still sees patients within Bend/ Redmond area.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately insurance is extremely limiting on what we can perform and for how long. Cash based has much more flexibility for treating the person, not a number.
